Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every eligible child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, a wish is granted on average every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
Make-A-Wish® is the legacy of Chris Greicius, a boy from Phoenix. At age seven, Chris was diagnosed with leukemia. More than anything else, he wished to be a police officer. C[aring people in his community granted his wish, and set in motion a phenomenon that would create an unprecedented kind of charity. You can read Chris’s full story here.
At the Make-A-Wish® Missouri chapter, we seek the best people to fulfill our vision of granting a wish for every eligible child. Every person who joins us commits to this vision and uses it as a guide in every action. Our staff lives the Make-A-Wish values in the pursuit of granting wishes. From Mission Delivery to Operations, every staff member plays a vital role in fulfilling our mission. We take seriously our responsibility to steward supporter contributions wisel
