The Rock'n Ribs BBQ Festival is a joint event that the Springfield Rotary Clubs put on together. It is managed by a group of volunteers, many of whom are Rotary members, who log thousands of hours per year planning the event because they believe in helping others and serving their community.

In 2016, the 17th Annual Rock n Ribs BBQ Festival gave away all profits equally to 7 local charities. These charities include Great Circle, Ronald McDonald House Charities-Mobile Dental Unit, Ozark Trails Council – Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, Ozarks Regional YMCA and Harmony House.
