Everybody Moves is a fully equipped STOTT Pilates studio. We offer Group Reformer, Pilates MAT, Yoga, TRX & Russian Kettle Bell classes and one on one person training.

Using Pilates to Improve Your Mood

Pilates improves not only your physical state, but also your mental state. One of the biggest benefits is a sense of calmness. You may struggle in the beginning as you start out. Once you get the routine down, you’ll be able to breathe and move easily. Combined with the breathing and moving, your focus creates a feeling of calm. The more often you practice, the stronger this feeling grows.

 

If you struggle with stress, Pilates can help you as well. As you work through your moves, you find yourself releasing the mental stress of the day. You replace the stress with thoughts centered around your movement. We have heard from many people that as they mindfully contract and release their muscles, they feel the worries of the day letting go!
